Jayesh Ranjan pitches for investments at IACC meet

Hyderabad: Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries Department, Government of Telangana while addressing Indo-American bilateral trade professionals said, 'Telangana, the youngest State in India has become more industry-friendly. We have a progressive industrial policy in place. The experience of the investors who have invested in the State in the last several years has been good.'
He also added that more than 20 American companies who started with small investments in Telangana could be seen repeating their investments in this State.
The Principal Secretary was invited as chief guest at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chapter, the apex bi-lateral Chamber synergizing India-US Economic Engagement, in the city.
Jayesh Ranjan further added that the government is not looking at only large companies for investment. "We have an agile State and government. We need investments from midscale companies, who are extremely valuable to us. If you decide to invest in India, let Telangana be your destination, we offer the best of India," he told the gathering of Indo-US trade professionals and entrepreneurs.
IACC chapter honoured two of its senior members in recognition of their outstanding service. One of them was Subba Rao Pavuluri, a Hyderabad-based space entrepreneur and CMD of Anant Technologies.
Yvon Guillaume, Acting Consul General, US Consulate General, Hyderabad, Dasari Balaiah, Regional Passport Officer, Dr Ramkumar Rudrabhatla, Chairman, IACC, TS and AP, Kapil Kaul, National President of IACC, C Narayana Rao and Sourabh Jain, Vice Chairmen of IACC, other office bearers, IACC members, Regional President and Chairman of IACC chapters were present.
